In the year of  2007 there was young adult novel that being bestseller and stealing people interest. The book's title was City Of  Bones by Cassandra Clare. In Indonesia that book being translated by Ufuk in 2010, and I, myself  begin reading that book in 2013, hehe.

In the first book, City Of  Bones ( yepz ot turns out to be series for six books) We being introduced  to the Shadow world and Downworlders, there were real vampire, werewolf, warlock, demon, and fairy. Oh and also the angel. And to protect human from the demons, there were Shadowhunter / Nephilim race ( they like hero for mundane like us, really badass hero, hehe). The setting on New York, the story begin with Clary ( human, actually she was shadowhunter but didn't know it at the moment) who being attacked by demons but  a group of Shadowhunters help her. The mystery  start apart and the adventure begin.

Right now there are five books ( City Of Bones, City Of ashes, City Of Glass, City Of Fallen Angels, City Of  Lost Souls). The last City Of Heavenly Fire would be published this year ( hurray) and today the reveal cover very shocking and tempting, haha. And every book make us to know more and more about the Shadow world. I think it's one of the best series book after the ending of Harry Potter series. The Mortal Instruments series make us learn about family, friendship, and love ( or forbidden love :p). About us make our choices and take the responsibility because of that. About the good and evil and the situation between that. 

My favorite is the third book, City Of Glass. I learn a lot from that book. and also in my opinion, the plot was climax. Hey, behind actions that could be considered evil, Valentine sure had a reason too. So don't judge him too hard ( hahaha). 

Though the book rather thick, don't worry cos after you read it, you can't stop it, hehe... It's very addicted so you will continue to read until next page, next chapter, next chapter and voilla... you reach the last page hurray you do finish the book, and want more, the next book and increasingly immersed in the story.

Beside that series, there are also prequel series, The Infernal Devices (only three books). The setting in English, in Voctorian era. The plot more dark I think, but I like the quotes and got a lot of  referencies from this series. It's more romantic than TMI. I think the TMI series more fun, that's why I like it more than TID, hehe.

To complete it, there are also others book like Shadowhunter's Codex, Shadowhunter's Guide, A little Book Of  Quote, Graphic Novel and Manga. I think Cassie really build the Shadow world for us. The Plan is she will make others series about The Shadowhunter ( TLH and The Dark Artifices). Hmmm.. Sounds we all get another fantastic stories :D.

The last Let's talk about The High Warlock in Brooklyn that have so many many fans out there ( or just me?) * drum rool please*, Magnus Bane. He had  short story that published every month ( only ebook version). So far there are 9 and this month would be published his last stories.  It's tell about Magnus from year 1791 till 1993 ( so far) so we will know his long long life, haha. He is one of my favorite character, he makes the story alive with his sarcasm, joke ( if you can understand his joke :p), his outgoing and absolutely his charm. What can I say,  he stole my heart with his magic :P.

So for you  that want good books for this year, I very recommend this series. You will got drama, action, romance, fantasy all in these books.

Opal Koboi practice the black magic to release herself from the prison in Atlantic. She called her younger self that release from the previous book and instructed to open The Berserker's Gate, that location is in Fowl Manor, ughh. So in the last battle between artemis and Opal, Artemis sacrifice himself, huhu. But with his geniusity, halah and help from Foaly they make a clone of him. And Holly begin to tell the new Artemis that didn't remember much all of his adventurs with fairies.

 

I still can't believe that this is the end of the series, huhu. But yeah the ending made Artemis such a hero as Eoin's  desire. So we must move on from this series, eh??. just one question, Is there producer that interesting to make a movies based in this series?hehe. After all this year, all rumours about this book will be filmed, and rite now Nicholas Hoult is too old to act as Artemis, haha.

Good ending lah, another 5 stars!!!

After his last adventure, Unfortunatelly Artemis feel sick and paranoid. Always count his words to 5, haha this is the funny thing in this book, cos I also count his words, good job by Eoin as always :). So he sent Butler to save his younger sister, Juliet in Mexico, in the same time he make meeting with Holly, Foaly, and Capt. Vinyaya in Iceland to presentation his last discovery to save earth from global warming, Ice Cube.

In the deep Atlantis Julian's brother Turnball Root, try to escape the prison to reunited with his human wife. Seriously I think this book is less adventurer than usual. But yeah it's okay hehe.

The other funny thing always about Artemis other personality, Orion Fowl. He was more romantic hahaha and always persuade Holly. And this book made me laugh a lot. another 5 stars ;)

Hehehe...finally I read this book on the late November. . It's because Indonesia didn't publish it yet and I'm very curious about Artemis adventure, so yeah I read ebook version, hehe.

when Holly Short get the task to examine Kraken in Finland, in the same time Angeline Fowl get sick. Artemis try to cure his mother with his magic but failed. So he contact Holly and with Foally instruction got to go to Fowl Manor. With Angeline's condition they know that she get sick named spelltropy. The only cure is Sifaka Lemur from Madagascar. Unfortunatelly the last one of the lemur was extinct and Artemis was the one that responsible in that matter. 

With help from the warlock and his frien too, No 1, Artemis and Holly back to the past to save the lemur and againt his younger self and Butler. In the past Artemis got help from the dwarf, Mulch Diggums too. And the rivalry between the young Artemis and the old is very entertaint, hehe. The real enemy in the fact is the one and only Opal Koboi. So when Artemis and Holly save the lemur ( the named was JayJay, for remembrance of JuliusRoot) and back to the present they didn't know that the young Opal also follow them.

After war strategy between Artemis and Opal, finally Artemis could trap Opal with Kraken. Buuut...yeah we know how clever is opal, so she can escape. Another adventure :)).

All in all as usual, I always give Eoin's book 5 stars, hehe...

The 17th book of  In Death series by J.D. Robb aka Nora Roberts finally translated to Indonesian by Gramedia, huhuhu How i miss Roarke so bad, halah..haha. the book translated on July but I read it last September.

This book tell about the serial killer that challenge Eve Dallas to catch him. He killed imitated serial killer in the past. First he imitate Jack the Ripper, the famous killer from Whitechapel, London. Second he imitate Albert DeSalvo, The Boston Strangler. Eve had suspected the killer, but all og them were very famous people, artist, musician, author, ambassador etc. With helped from her adjutant, Peabody, her beloved husband, Roarke, also from Feeney, McNab, Baxter, and Trueheart and dr. Mira's opinion finally the killer can catched by her team. 

For the information, I can guess the killer since chapter 18, haha. Very proud of myself  lol.

In this book Peabody got her detective badge. she want move in with McNab to new apartement. Roarke as usual very charming, haha but he failed to use the toaster, this reality made me laugh a lot. I can not wait to read the next book, Divided in Death.. Gramedia please huryy to translate it :).

And I give 5 stars for this book, As usual J.D. Robb very creative with the motive, plot bla bla bla.. Very entertaining!!!

Short story of Troubleshooters series by Suz Brockmann. There are 14 stories about the character of  TS. A lot of Sam, Alyssa, and Jules, haha. But my favorite stories always about Jenk, Izzy, Dan and Lopez. there are two stories about the four men, first meet with Tony Vlachick that made me laugh a lot and the interview with Suz, also very funny, hehe.

The compilation story actually written by Suz between 2005 till 2013 but the ebook I read published 2013. and I read this last September. The TS series would stop in a while cos Suz got another project. The project still talk about Navy Seal, that would be trilogy ( the spoiler tell about Martee Griffin, hehe). The first book, Born To Darkness published in 2012 but I don't read it yet, hehe. And the second book Do or Die would be available on February 2014. 

I still hope story about Lopez though. I want all of the story about team sixteen.

This is the last book of  TS series, huhuhuhu. Hope Suz would write again about Lopez  :).

So the story in this book about Gillman's. Dan Gillman and Jennilyn LeMay, Eden Gillman and Izzy Zanella, also the youngest, Ben Gillman. He was gay hohoho. I'm very informatif lol. 

The story begin when Gregg, his step father send him to church project because of his illnes cos being gay. he fading and live with Eden who came back from Germany. Eden didin't call Izzy, his husband but she work at club as dancer in Las Vegas. In the meantime Ben meet with Neesha, girl from Asian that being kidnapped when still child and be created as slave. So the human trafficking  case made Izzy and his nemesis Dan to cooperate each other to save their family. The misunderstandings years between Eden and Dan finnaly end. Dan and Jenn married in Las Vegas. Eden finnaly come back with Izzy... yeah everybody happy except me cos the series would be dormant, huhu.

Haha I just kidding, I know that Suz have another project about Seal..So I would live another day to read all of her books, LOL

About the books, I still rate 5 stars. I like Izzy but I don't like Dan, haha.

Welcome again at TS most lovely couple, hehe. Yepz this book is about Sam Starett and Alyssa Locke again, After Ashton born, hehe. Begin when Savannah's friend, the assemblywoman from New york, Maria Bonavita need security guard. So TS with Alyssa as Co come to east coast. The team including  Sam, Lopez, Tony, Izzy, and  Dan. But on there the dentist, serial killer that take tooth as sovenir from the victims targeting Alyssa. So the piece of cake job being the big shit job, haha.

The side story tell about Dan Gillman that hook up with Maria's staff and friend, Jennylin LeMay. Oh yeah Jules also appear with Robin, actually Robin come to babysat Ashton,hehe.

All in all this book was great, the thriller and the plot. And I can't guess the dentist identity at all, haha. good job from Suz Brockmann. Definitely 5 stars :))

Another favorite character of mine, the mysterious Lawrence Decker :)). On the previous book Deck with helped from Jules Cassidy fake  Jimmy Nash's dead to trick people that want Nash's dead. After Jimmy surgery, he and Tess go to safe house to heal and practice his phisycal training. The people that know he still alive just Tess, Deck, Jules and robin. But when Deck come to Tess's apartement to bring cloths etc Tracy Saphiro, the TS receptionist figure out that Jim wasn't dead. Then deck also want Tracy to come to safe house.

But people that want Jim's dead was attacked Dave when he and Sophia visited her father at hospital. So becaus eof the emergency condition, finally Deck bring Sam Starett and Alyssa Locke to guard Jim, and tom Paoletti and Ken Karmody to guard Dave and Sophia. The susspect was from Agency when Jim and Deck worked before in TS. Jim come to eliminated people on their grey group. 

And yeah after all the drama and action, the real villain was former head of the Agency who want money from the terorrist, and Nash knew that so they want eliminated Nash too. In this operation Tom being shot, and My lovely Ken 'Wildcard' also got 3 shots, 2 on the chest and 1 on the leg, huhuhu.But after the surgery he will be fine, haha. 

The main character, Deck and Tracy finally got together. But I think their story somewhat drowned out by another character, hehe. The balance couple, haha with Deck rather shy and grim and Trace that always cheer up. They will be best couple, hoho.

Another 5 stars book :)

Here the story about the lost boy, um man Vinh Murphy. So the former marine and TS agent appear on the map again cos there's problem with Tim Ebersole, the head of Freedom Network that killed Angelina, Murph's wife ( back to Hot Target). the rumor was that Tim being Killed by anonymous man, and yepz Murph name apperared as susspect. the FBI want to interview him. On the other hand, Murp didn't remember anything post Angelina's death, cos he move out a lot. with help from Hannah Whitfield, former police and  friend of Murph also Angelina he come to Tim's camp and found out taht Tim wasn't dead.

Troubleshooters Inc also want to help Murph. Dave Malkoff on the command and the team save the day. Cos Hannah, Eden Zanella, Tess, and Sophia being kidnapped by bad guys. The side story tell about Izzy that married with Eden Gillman, they kind of funny. and aldo that finally Sophia knew that Dave love her, uh huh. After this Deck on action, hehe.

On all package, the book is great, another 5/5 stars to Suz Brockmann. The end very unpredictable ;)

The cover make me drooling, haha. I just imagine Jules with unbuttoned shirt, loose tie, his FBI costume, haha.He looks sexy and hot. :P

Okay I will love this short story. Robin still have to work for the tv series on Boston, But he felt a little bored. So yeah he want to end the project and start the new one. What the new?? He want a baby from Jules, haha. I know this,  that Jules the alpha on their married live. But when I imagine Robin doing laundry, cooking meal I just want to laugh. 

So okay Robin often crying cos Jules very romantic, and I know from the previous book that Robin got the nickname Boy wonder cos Jules the batman. I got it lately, hehe.

In the final, they got what they want, They're pregnant (but the sentence was we're pregnant). They always being lovely couple, I love them more. And they plan to move on west coast, to LA again. Ehm you know Dolphina married to Will in this story. 

It's another 5/5 stars book. I still have 5 books from TS series, and Jules always got character on each books, so I can't wait to know his happily ever after life...

The 12th books, the book that I wait for to read, haha. yupz It's all about Jules Cassidy and Robin Chadwick. Meen..they both was so sweet. The story began when Jules go to Boston to asked TRoin to marry him. But Jules got sick and they both go to Sam's hotel room. So Robin asked Jules to marryhim, and Sam heard all that, hahaha. It's so funny actually. Then they were preparing the wedding.

Before the wedding, Jules got assignment to Afghanistan and traped on there with his bos, the mighty Max Bhagat. But they all save by team sixteen of Navy Seal  also with help from the reporter, Will Schroeder ( remember from flash Point? yep the same person). So the reporter have a feeling with Robin's assistant, Dolphina Patel.

In this book Davis Jones also appear to the wedding party. And the president also attend the party. But before the part, Adam ( Jules' ex) I think I still hate him, haha come to Boston cos got a treat from maniac. The story end with Will being shot by the maniac. And Adam met Tony Vlachic from the Navy ( but that another book).

Okay the funniest scene also that made me little cry was before the wedding party. Robin forgot the gift for Jules, so he came back to his home at South End, Boston to pick the gift. But you know the old house and Robin?, yeah he become locked in his master bathroom. Haha..he was panicked, his phone on other room and he try to make hole on the wall. Jules that also panicked cos Robin missing search him with Sam, the best man.

And yeah when Jules finally see Robin, that the sweet moment. I can feel relieved cos they got together. The love they shared made me happy, really happy. They have to go through the problems ( Robin's problem with alcohol and he being in the closet cos he was gay, Jules' jealously) but they can solve all that and find the unconditionally love. I just want to feel the same love they shared. 

This book got all my heart, haha. I will give Jules and Roin 100 stars each. And I more admire Suzanne Brockmann book. Really really grat book. You must read this :)

Remember character from book 9 of Troubleshooters series? There was one character, sarasota police named Enrique Alvarado that helped ( and hitting on haha) with Gina, eww. So this book tell about the same person, Ric Alvarado taht out from Sarasota PD and open private investigator office. Also got his partner Annie Dugan, his little sister's  best friend. So okayy..we better begin the story.

Ric have a client that her daughter being muredered by Gordie Junior or Senior, I forget the conclusion, haha. This Gordie was suspect to have connection with terrorist, Al Hasan. So Jules Casidy the handsome FBI agent got undercover to dug information about that and also the missing agent, Peggy Ryan. Jules and Ric make a team up to trap the Gordie with help from Martell, Annie, and Robin Chadwick ( yess that Robin, the actor, ehm gay actor that Jules got a crush 2 years before).

I love the action stories. And finally Robin out of the closet and said ( actually kissed) Jules in front of the media that he was gay. The truth moment, haha. Ric also asked Annie to marry him and yep.. Troubleshooters Inc want the both of them to join their team, yeah actually they want open branch on Florida, hehe.

It's lovely book, But I thought that Jules story steal the book, haha. This book in fact tell about Ric as main character, but Jules and Robin I think got better story, hehe and more entertaining.

All in all, the book was great, another 5 stars to Suz Brockmann. really she was adorable, haha.

Tenth book of Troubleshooters series by Suzanne Brockmann certainly got 100 stars haha. The book that I want to read so bad, haha yepz it's about Jenk..Jenk..Jenk.

O-kee Mark Jenkins, he think he wanna live like Tom Paoletti that marry with his highscool girlfriend. But right now Jenk was big wrong beacause yeah Tracy his dream girl from highschool is just high with drama and actually they didn;'t have chemistry to each other. Just open your eyes Jenk, Lindsey in front of you :p.

The plot is Jenk with team sixteen of Navy Seal, CO by Koehl had practice with Troubleshooters Inc. round  1 Lindsey as hostage made the Seal team and Troubleshooters Inc lose their games. Round 2 Tracy who work as recepcionist at Troubleshooters office cos Jenk's recomendation become hostage. And this is the begin of the trouble, haha she was not traines, and amateur, didn't have camping experience. So in the New Hampshire's wood she was vanished. Uh- oh.. But there was also serial killer that be sought by FBI team in the area.

All the team member searching for Tracy, unfortunatelly Deck and Dave on one team got accident but Sophia helped them. Izzy (yeah he was crazy haha  can't wait to read book 16) panicked with the news and UA from the team to help search Tracy. dan Gillman also got injured. And the hero or heroin  on that day was Lindsey. Yepz.. Linds kill yhe serial killer and in the end of the book she got together with Jenk, Happily ever after, hahaha.

In this book reveal that Dave have a feeling for Sophia, hohoho..Deck?? yeah I will find out what he wa doing with Tracy in book 14, haha.

After all Jenk was my second favorite character from the start after Ken, yeah..Ken didn't appear in this book. ups just help Jenk to find Tom's dog with his new devices, halah.

OK ok...time to book review again. Now time to the Mighty Max Bhagat, the most gorgeous and head's of FBI elite counter terorrist division. And for your information in this book also appear again my favorite couple Dave Jones and Molly Anderson. The setting is on Africa ( Kenya), Europe ( German), and again in Indonesia. So the story begin....

Max heard the news that Gina Vitagliano dead on bomb car in Germany. So he and the handsome Jules Cassidyfly to German to identify. But eng ing eng..that's not Gina at all. So Max go to Gina's hotel and in there he met Dave Jones aka Grady Morant. Ehm okay back again to Gina. She was knew each other with Molly coz they assist on Kenya together. Back to German again. Grady know that Gina and Molly being kidnap because of him, and they both transported to east Indonesia. So Max and Grady have a deal and got to help each other to find Gina and Molly.

In Indonesia the situation being complicated, cos the kidnaper actually have a deal with the politican fro Indonesia, Heru Nusantara. But finally Jules save the day haha..The great news was Molly pregnant and yeah actually she married Dave back on Kenya. Jules got injured and hey he has new friend name Ben from the marine, hehe.

Max the kindest person, halah made a new decision and with help from Jules made a new deal with US president. So Grady wow I mean David Jones got his identity and come to USA with honoured from the army. Finally David jones free and coming home with his wife.

And Max?? yeah he want to marry Gina, finally he got concius, haha.

The book got 5/5 stars from me. I am a little confused with the plot, two years a go, present day, 11 months a go, present day..bla bla bla. But it's okay..the story fine. I love Jules, ehh hahaha...

It's one of my favorite books, that for sure, haha. I think Cosmo take my breath away from his personality, hahaha. He's very tall, dark, dangerous and fabolous :P. But he also shy, withdrawn, and very love his mom. Yup I think the last factor that made me fall all over him.

Oke back to the story, Cosmo Richter is one of the navy seal from team sixteen. He got leave day but he didn't know what to do ( yeah typical lol), so he come to Tom Paoletti, and want to help Troubleshooters Inc that have assignment on Hollywood. The team with Decker as CO got thejob to protect  J. Mercedes Chadwick, a producer that threat with a death  by some organizations neo nazi cos her film, American Hero. 

Jane was opposite of Cosmo, so they are the unique couple so far from the series, and that made me love them more, haha. The side story tell about Jules Cassidy ( yeah another my favorite character, I love this Guy, ugh gay LOL) with his ex boyfriend Adam Windham that play as Jack Shelton on movie, also Robin Chadwick as Harold. The three of them  really makes me laugh, haha.

The WW II stories tell about the real Jack Shelton and his lover, Harold that had affair during the war. But the story ended tragically :'(.  ( or I think that)

So far thhe book more long than usual, but I syill love it. So it got 5 stars from me, yeayy!!!

As if you all didn't know about me that adore navy Seals and Brockmann haha.. :)

It's new character on troubleshooters series. There's James "Diego" Nash and Lawrence Decker from agency. But the pair or couple or whatever you called it haha worked on Tom Paoletti's new project Troubleshooters Incorporated. short story  They must go to Kazbekistani to find the terorrist's laptop that missing during earthquake. The Computer specialist, Tess Bailey, also joined the team with Vinh Murphy and Dave. Tess that knew Jimmy and deck from the agency, pretending to be Jimmy's wife to enter the country. during the mission, Deck had more work to find Dimitri Ghafarri and his partner.Deck didn't know that the partner is SHE and actually Dimitri's wife. Unfortunately Dimitri was dead on Padsha Bashir's palace. Skip..skip..skip..Finally they met the wife, Sophia that also worked at agency with Dave. So they met the partnet and the laptop and rescue by seahawk of team sixteen. End the story, haha. oh by the way Murphy eing injured in this mission, huhu. And there's not side story from WW II, huhu. 

This book from scale 1 to 5 got perfect 5 of course, hehe.

One of the most emotional book I've ever read, haha. Yupz a lot of crying while I read this one. The Sixth book from Troubleshooters series definitely got 5/5 stars.

The story still tell the same terrorist from previous book, so read that before you read this one. Finally the main story tell bout Sam Starret cos in five books before he just being side story, hehe. Sam got divorce from Mary Lou that run away to Sarasota. The end story Sam finally get together with Alyssa Locke, haha after five books :') and hapy ending.

On this book alot of side story, from Max Bhagat and Gina, Tom and Kelly Paoletti that finally get married. Mann the book just so good uhmm not all is good though. Mary Lou and Ihbraham Rahman finally also together. The sid estory from WW II was about aunt Dot and Walter Gainnes. Yepz they were Sam's aunt. They married even though Dot was white and Walt was colored. O-keee don't be racist guy :). 

I'm crying cos Don DaCosta, Sam's neighbour also Joan's brother was dead, Mary Lou's sister, Janine also dead. o-kee I also cried when Tom and Kelly married, cosmo's injured bla bla bla..haha. Actually for the truth, I often crying while reading book or watch movie, but that's another story, haha.

One more book to my favorite shelves ;)

It's story of Michael Muldoon and Joan DaCosta. Mike was the cutest and youngest SEAL on team sixteen, had to guide Joan DaCosta from white house staff on Naval base because the president want to come and watch demonstration of Navy Seal tehnique. Joan thought that Mike is too young for her and yeah Mike is the humble and always being gentleman to other woman. It's nice and funny though. 

The side story tell about Mary Lou Starrett trapped by terorrist. You can tell from this book that the terorrist not always from Arabian. The WW II  story more I like, tell about Joan's grandmother, Charlotte Fletcher, that become widow and try to help another war hero, Vincent DaCosta healing his wound. Vincent younger from her and love her, but he know taht Charlie still loved her first husband. Charlie want to marry him to prevent his comeback to the war. after they married long time, had grandchildren, Vincent still thought that Charlie can't forget her first husband. And finally Charlie give interview in hospital after Vinc being injured on Naval base during president visit by terorrist. So after long years, they just misunderstood because they never wanna talk about that one, Oh My...

I think the side story better than the main, haha. Sure Vincent and Charlie DaCosta story succes stole my heart. But I still give this book 5/5 stars, Think that I'll give all Troubleshooters series high rating :))

Still from Troubleshooters series by Suzanne Brockmann, It's the fourth book and also my favorite. Yepz the main character of this book was Ken " Wildcard" Karmody, the geek of the team sixteen, haha. I have a crush wuth him from the second book :). So the setting was on my beloved country Indonesia. Tell about the terrorist etcetera, Kenny accompanied Savannah Van Hopf to brought the money for Alex, Savannah's uncle that being kidnapped. Actually the setting in Parwati island was only fiction. The side story tell about Jones and Molly, the missionaries in Parwati. Savannah's grandma, Ingerose Van Hopf became main story from World War II point of view. Sge was double agent for FBI and Nazi, and being in loved with Prince from Austria, Heinrich Van Hopf. The story really romantic I though. The book become my favorite so far.. I love Ken, Jones and Rose story and really fall in it, hehe.

On scale 1 to 5, I'll give 10 for this book :)))
