It's Indonesian movie based from the novel with the same title, 5 CM by Donny Dhirgantoro. I read that novel maybe 4 or 5 years ago and very excited with this movie. So I decided to watch this film when premier on 12- 12- 12. Here the story...
So that day ( 3 days ago), I joined with the crowded and try to get ticket to watch 5CM, unfortunately the situation really crowded, the management too bad to handle this situation, usually if there is a good movie, the purchases are limited for one person maximum bought 4 tickets, but yesterday the queue become chaos. I not yet had the ticket when the management told the ticket for today was sold out. Actually I don't believe so I asked the ticket seller, and she said the ticket are only staying one to show today, so I bought that, and think I'm lucky enough, hehe.
Okay back to the story, The movie is told like the book, I really like the cinematography, dialogue, the casts (haha), soundtrack and the whole packaging of the movie. There are 5 best friend from high school that bore about their routine activity and decided to break their meeting every week for 3 months.
So the first guy is Arial ( played by Denny Sumargo), the taller one, had weird habit to eat everything with soya ( including pizza, yuck). Riani (played by Raline Shah) is the only girl on the friendship, Zafran ( played by Herjunot Ali) aka Juple the poet and the random person. the fattest one is Ian ( played by Igor Saykoji) and the last but not least are the leader Genta ( played by Fedi Nuril).
Between 3 months according to the agreement, they can't meeting, call or sms each other. So they all doing another activities and promise to catch their own dreams.
Ian doing his paper cos he was the only student that not passed his degrees after 6 years.And Zafran try to get Arial's twin attention, Arinda ( played by Pevita Pearce).
After 3 months they gather at Senen railway station. They all wanna go to Malang. They all start the adventure to climb the highest mountain peak on Java, Mahameru. A lot of story begin from there, struggle to the peak, panoramic views, until the crashes are not intentionally making the plot to lull the audience.

Overall I was not disappointed of waiting in line to watch this movie
