GREETINGS FROM UKRAINE Official from Postcrossing

This card sent by Katherina from Ukraine but when she sent it, she was in Malaysia. So yeahh it had Malysian stamps :p. And the funny thing is she was in Indonesia before she went to Malaysia. She and her husband enjoy Indonesia, and told me that she fall in love with Borobudur temple so bad, and want to visit again some day. And because of it, I asked her address back in Ukraine and sent postcard with Borobudur temple picture in it :). Sometimes we still email each other.

This is one of many reasons that I love Postcrossing. The web connected people around the world :). and I always grateful for meeting new friends, always make a new friends, and still keep in touch with the old friends ;).

Balloon Official from Netherlands

And here my first birthday card from Netherland. Haha It arrived 15 days before my birthday though. Very nice card with all the cheers up stuff.

And it's really very nice to got the wishes from foreigner that never knew me before. The sender, Manon only read my profile and then sent this nice card with nice messages and wishes for me :'). It made me want to cry of happiness cos it remind me that out there in the world still lots of kind people :D.

Thank you Manon, :)

CAT Official from Taiwan

Okay, as I promise to myself that this month I will start to write all the postcard that i've received, hehe here the first :). It's been busy month but, I will start to post the postcard that I got from the official postcrossing.

It came from Taiwan, the funny thing is that I also sent my first card to Taiwan, hehe  (though of course for different person).

On my first profile I'm not write my wishes card, haha yeah what else can I say, I still new in that web.  So I just write that i'm not picky ( that's true), so I would receive any card and would be happy for it. Yepz, i'm happy enough to receive this card from Julia, hehe ( I'm cat lover if you compare it to dog, hehe). So thank you so much for my first card that I got in August, 14 2013 :D.

CAPTURING THE STAR

Okay, don't be confuse with the title :). Though I always like astronomy, right now I won't talk about it :p. I want talk about a page in Facebook name Starring You. it's great page, since I love star and postcard, haha. Okay I will tell from the beginning when I found this page ;).

So, maybe you all know that I'm old school and one of my "old habit " is to write letter, postcard and other stuff and send it to other people. I'm lucky cos my friend told me about Postcrossing :). And then after that I also join with a group of postcrossers  from Indonesia in facebook ( yeah actually before I know about the group, I rarely update my facebook account cos i'm too busy with my twitter, haha but now I become facebook user again :p).

From that group, I met lots of kind people, one of them was Mbak Na, my senior in highscool ( imagine how excited I was when I found out, haha). She told me about the page, Starring You earlier this year. And then I like the page and sent my address via pm and wait for the postcard to be send to my address, hehe. Lucky me, I got my first postcard from Michael, the founder of Starring You when he visited Bulgaria, yeaaayy!!!. Thank you so much for the postcard and the stars Michael! :D.

About the page, so starring You is page that be founded by Michael. He will travel to lots of coutries and send lots of postcards with stars to people around the world that interested :). So if you want a postcard from other coutries, just hurry to like the page!! :D. The page had mission to share as many beautiful places as possible with everybody who's interested. Why postcard? Because it's always nice too look your mailbox and find out beautiful pictures of postcard than just only find bills or advertisement, hehehe.

And why naming Starring You?? hmmm... It's just my assumptions after I talked to Michael, haha. So he told me that he must travel a lot and rarely go to his home country and meet with his family. So he thought that whenever he go, he still could see the same stars as his family would also see in the sky :). Awwww... that's so poetic, haha. and it's true, I like the philosophy, hehe.

Lucky for Indonesia, cos this month finally Michael visit our coutry, hehe. He will go to six cities ( and while I write this, He enjoy Bandung I think, hehe). Lucky again for me cos my city near with one of his destination, Yogyakarta. So we plan to meet up with other postcrossers ( for your information, actually Michael is not postcrosser and he knew about it after long time he already sent postcard on his page :p). As type A, I arranged the meet up. Finally in May, 11 me with other friends can meet up with him, rather funny  story in the beginning and in the end, haha. But we all good, I think.

So we took him to Sultan Palace, yogyakarta with andhong ( horse carriage), enjoy the crowded place, yeah it's weekend so the place always crowded with tourists, hehe. When I took him to my favorite spot in the palace, Pringgodani home ( it's home for the Prince once upon a time and full of portraits from generations to generations that being painted by my favorite painter, Raden Saleh, haha). Okay back to the portrait, It's one of the genius of Raden saleh that make such an illusion. So there are the shoes or the eyes of the portrait  that would follow and pointed to your direction when you're moved. Haha.. it's really surprised and amused him, I think.

After that we went to eat gudeg, one of tradition food from Yogyakarta. Oh by the way we rode Becak or pedicab. He like the sweet food. And Gudeg is the good choice.

After that he went to Semarang for 2 days and came back to Yogyakarta again in May, 14 ( yeah yeah I know everyone joking that in here I'm being his manager, haha). He visited Lawang Sewu and Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah ( great mosque) and accompanied by mbak Na and other friends  from Semarang. He want to Borobudur actually to see the celebration of Vesak, unfortunately the temple not open for tourists during the ceremony. So we took him to have a picnic in othe temple, Prambanan. Hehehe, I really excited with the picnic concept, I think I more enjoy it than him, hahaha.

And it's the last day we can give to him, hehe. In Indonesia Michael meet lots of new people :). and he have lots of fans too :v. He's really famous here, everyone want to take a picture with him :p. And because of that we all made a joke of it, haha.

It's really nice to meet with him, because he's really nice!
Don't forget to send me postcard while you travel again, haha!!
For now, just enjoy Bandung, then Jakarta as the last cities you must visit!
Always take care!!

THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN 2 : REVIEW

Wow... It's really fantastic, haha. I watched it yesterday, when it's being played for the first time in Indonesia. And yeaah people here very enthusiastic, I can saw it from the queue and the crowded place, hehe. Fortunately for me, I just simply take the ticket cos I bought it on Sunday ^^. U yeeaah.. one of advantage to have member card :P.

Let's talk about the movie, I think the story very usual for heros theme, haha. And damn it cos I read ( without my intention, seriously) the spoiler before watch it, huhu. So yeah  I'm not surprissed with the ending.

Sweet  Couple

But the plus for the movie from my point of view of course, haha, except for the magnificent 3D effect ( halah) is the chemistry between Gwen Stacy (  Emma Stone) and Peter Parker ( Andrew Garfield). They both made the film more alive with the romance. Beside that, of course I like Andrew's jokes ( hmm I think I'm more like him than Tobey :P).

Electro in action

Because you know what, the acting of Jamie Foxx as Electro and Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn according to my opinion is just so plain ^^. But you can tell that I'm being subjective here cos I'm fan of James Franco, haha ( and I think no one can beat his act for Harry ^^).

Dane DeHaan

yeaah, always weak when see a man with kid lol

And don't forget about the ost. The songs are great cos I always enjoy Pharrel Williams, hehe. And I know one from Johann Strauss too, but I can't remember the title haha ( I always forget the title of the classics music). And the soundtrack become one of my must buy album :P.

the next villain ;)

Overall I will give 7,5/10 for this movie. So if you have not watched it, I really recommend it :D.

XoXo
