Hong Kong Night View




That's very nice aerial view of Hongkong and Kowloon at night. So many modern building that took it on the picture, hehe by the way this is maybe took from Victoria Harbour ;).

Large scale- development of Kowloon began in the early 20th century, but because of the path of plane from Kai Tak airport, the building in Kowloon had lower than in Hongkong.

The White Sand Dunes from Muine



The white sand dunes of Bao Trang ( white lake) is the second attraction in Muine after the beach. Many Russians come there every year, including the one that sent me this :).

The dunes range from gold to pure white and red dunes. The lake have three parts Bau Ong ( Gentleman lake), Bau Ba ( Lady lake), and the largest Bau Xoai ( Mango lake). A small of pine trees could be the best spot for a picnicor afternoon nap. The visitors often swim at Bau Ba, but they must be careful cos the reeds could be the enemy and make them drowning.

Lausanne



Lausanne is a city in Switzerland and capital of Vaud Canton. In 2013 has population of 132.626 and being the fifth largest city in Switzerland.
The famous one in this area is lake Geneva ( as you can see in the picture). The shore is called La Côte because it's flatter. You can see home near the lake. And every year the lake also held the yacht racing.

Groeten uit Apeldoorn



Apeldoorn is municipality and city in the province of Gelderland, Netherland. The total area only 341, 13 km² and the population in 2012 157.057. Very small and nice city, hmm. But like all the city in Europe  this city also have interesting history. Had Het Loo Palace, Paper Mills and the famous Apenheul Zoo ( house of apes and monkeys).

Cologne Cathedral



Its declared to Unesco World Heritage Site in 1996.
Built from 1248- 1880 and had 144, 5 metres long; 86, 5 metres wide and the towers approxiately 157 metres  ( became the tallest building from 1880- 1884). It is the seat of the Archbishop of Cologne and one of Germany's most visited landmark, even in one day average 20.000 people visit this place, wooow... 

I am glad to have this postcard with night view picture accross the Rhein river, Thank you so much Mechtild, It's really great card !! I really love it :D !!

HERON ISLAND



I am really glad to have this postcard :).

So Heron Island is in the southern of Great Barrier Reef and located in Queensland state, Australia. The islan is about 800 metres long and 300 metres widths, supported around 900 species of fish and 72% coral species. Wooow.. That's really awesome, hehe.

The island itself discovered on 12 January 1843 by the Corvette HMS Fly. The expedition commanded by Captain Francis Blackwood. After 20th century the island became inhabited when turtle Cannery was established. On 11 September 1943 the entire island was declared a National Park.

San Luca



The sanctuary of the Madonna in San Luca, bologna, Italy. Hufff Very long name haha.  The church built in 1194 till 1765 and architected by Carlo Francesco Dotti, Donato Fasano, Giovanni Antonio, Ferri, Giovanni Giacomo Dotti, and Angelo Venturoli. Located on the top of the colle della Guardia, in south- west of the city and have 666 arches. Very amazing  architecture and the sender, Marco told me that this building is the first we will see when arrive in Bologna, haha. Yeaah.. I agree with him, cos we can missed this beautiful building, right?

Winter



It's very nice postcard. Because I always like autumn/ winter, hehe, and this frosty winter from Poland  just so perfect. I don't know why I like this season, maybe because in Indonesia I can't feel it hehe that's why I rather envy with country that have 4 season :p.

St. Isaac's Cathedral



The St. Isaac  is the largest Russian orthodox Cathedral in  Saint Petersburg, Russia. It's dedicated to Saint Isaac of Dalmatia, a patron saint of Peter the Great. built in 1818 till 1858 with Augustei Montferrand as architect.

The main dome ( that's very awesome) rises 101,5 metres and is plated with pure gold. decorated with 12 statues of angeks by Josef Hermann. During world war II  the dome was painted over in gray to avoid from enemy aircraft. In 1931 the cathedral turned into museum of the History of religion and Atheism. With the fall of communism, the main body of the cathedral is used for services on feast days only.

Sun Moon Lake



It's the largest lake in Nantau County, Taiwan, And surrounded by tiny islands called lalu. The shaped in western part is like new moon, and the eastern part is like sun, so it's called Sun Moon ;).

According to legend, Thao tribe that live in  there area discoverd the lake while hunting white deer. The deer led them to the lake, and nowadays we can find the deer as marble statue on Lalu Island.

The lake itself has 7, 93 kilometres square and 27 deep. So many trails for hiking to those area. Sounds very tempting place to go, haha.

Leliegracht : AMSTERDAM



It's Amsterdam card that sent from Ukraine, hehe. Ania, the sender just went to Amsterdam last year and very love with this city, so she also sent me this card, hehe.

You can see the Leliegracht canal in the postcard, It's located in Amsterdam's western canal belt. When I see the internet it called one of the beautiful canal in there,  with the bridge and  people that cycling. yeah now we know that Amsterdam also one of charming city in the world, right? :)

BOLDT Castle




It's built by George Boldt in 1900 in Heart island, New York. Located across the scenic St. Lawrence River at night, the view in the postcard was breath taking.

Today as one of the famous tourist spot in New York, the castle is accessible by ferry, private boat, or tpur boat. The castle have six stories and become one of the largest private homes. The other buildings on the island are the power house and the Aister tower, both also open to public.
