An Aurora is natural light display in the sky in high
latitude regions caused by the collision of solar wind and magnetospheric
changed particles with the high altitude
atmosphere. Usually only seen in Arctic
and Antartic.
In the Northern such us Russia the aurora named Aurora Borealis took from Aurora , the Roman Goddes of Dawn and Boreas the greek for northern wind. Galileo named it in 1619.
From farther away, Aurora illuminated the norther
horizon as a greenish glow or sometimes a faint red. Such a breath taking view J
