Another night view J
It’s mean of warehouse district in
Hamburg. It is the largest in Germany and in the world where the buildings
stand on timber- pile foundations, oak logs. Located in the port of Hamburg and
built from 1883 till 1927.
The district was built as a freezone to transfers goods without paying
customs. And nowadays it become tourist attraction. There are several museums
like Deutsches Zollmuseum, miniatur Wunderland, the Hamburg Dungeon and the
Afghan museum. This district handled one- third of the world’s carpet
production, and other goods like cocoa, coffee, tea, spices, maritime equipment
and electronic goods.
